Mary didn't feel like going to work today. It was a pleasant day, and she opened up the windows and the sliding glass doors of her balcony to enjoy the sweet fragrance of the flowers that were blooming all over the island.

She pulled out a stack of DVDs, all romantic comedies, and tried to decide which movies she should watch today.

Sometimes, there were benefits to pitching in and helping out on your day off. Mary hated pushing around the stupid housekeeping cart, but for some strange reason, the first unoccupied room she opened had chocolate. Sometime during the evening, the current occupant of the Presidential Suite threw her watch off the balcony. The watch was followed by the clock radio from the bedroom. The clock radio was followed by several bottles of beer.
